Because of my friends and people who are reading me outside Bulgaria I am making some short English resumes before my main posts.
Here you can see one of my latest up-dates of the poem THE BLUE CITY witch I wrote last year during my summer Istanbul visit. As you maybe allready know, I am a big fan of the city of Istambul. No matter I have already posted something about my Istanbul visit here, I am sure it is the first time I am posting a poem. I hope you will enjoy reading it.

Istanbul, Turkey, 2008
THE BLUE CITY
Stranger
by a neighbourly way,
I feel like an odd
female slave,
captured from
the men’s stare
in this harbour
coffee shop.
The blue city
on the blue sea-shore…
(the blue for the sea is a cliché, I know)
but look,
I’ am singing about Bosfore,
and I’ am gonna cry as more as I need to,
because soon I have to go
and because I’ m full of sorrow too.
Sitting gently on the sofa,
I’ m smoking a „shisha“,
I’ m covering my tears with smoke,
pretending, oh, my God,
I am crying over the History,
I never cared actually much about…
You know,
I’ m crying because
in my lonely life
I felt only once
the Big Love,
and only for a while.
While standing on the sea-shore,
I fell in love in this City’s feelings
and my love gave me a big joy,
so the days I’ ve passed living
in Istanbul were the happiest
in my whole life.
